Hello fellow deviants,

My name is Kigai. I would be amazed if anybody is actually reading this, but if you are, then you probably know I do not have any deviations up yet. I'm finally getting to the point where I would like to show some of my art, so someday soon I would like to begin uploading.

I'd like to give you some info about me and my art before anything though, so that those who are interested can learn what they can expect.

I am a purely wolf anthro artist. I have only drawn the following in the past: Wolves (standard), Werewolves, Anthro wolves (Lycans as I call them), and Humans. I've also done some misc. characters out of pure reference. I have never done any other species of animal or anthro, and do not really intend to do so. My fascination is with wolves, which gives me the inspiration to draw them, without inspiration, I simply cannot draw.

I only do sketches at this point, little to no color (I've only done color for test projects, and with blood). I am working on shading right now though, you'll see it in some of my art, but not in others.

It's very rare that I can get through a sketch with out artistic references from other anthro artists. I am still in that 'reference' stage. So often you'll see my characters in similar positions to other artists. Concepts are changed, but often my sketches look quite similar.

I am just starting now to get to that 'originality' stage, finally learning my style.

I am first a writer, second an artist. Almost every single anthro piece I've drawn is a scene from one of my books (one of which is currently in the process of physically writing it) I thoroughly enjoy my stories, which gives me the inspiration to sketch them, to put an image to the words.
I am going to college with a minor in professional writing this August, and I do hope to someday publish these stories, so I wont be revealing much of the actual storylines, but will probably shed light on the backgrounds of the characters in them. The characters and storylines ARE copyrighted to me, so no stealing.

Out of character I am an 18 year old, native-american/latino/caucasian, male. Living in North Carolina. I am graduated from high school, and as I said before, will be attending college this fall.

In character, I am an 18 year old, Arctic Lycan, male.

I hope to show you some art in the near future, and I hope this message gives you an insight to what you can expect.
